Top Ten RV-Friendly Casinos in America

While the lack of an RV resort probably doesn’t affect the casino’s bottom line by much, you probably wouldn’t enjoy yourself very much either, even if the “rent” to boondock in a parking lot is free and the gaming is good. Security probably isn't much of a concern there either. Those casino owners probably aren't surprised that you and your RV will keep rolling to the next one, one a little more, or a lot more, RV-friendly.

Today, we’ve put together a list of the top ten RV-friendly casinos that make RV-gaming a pleasure. After all, why rent a hotel room, as posh as some of them are, when you already have everything in your RV? These ten resorts find you the best of both worlds!

Today, we’ve put together a list of the top ten RV-friendly casinos that make RV-gaming a pleasure

Circus Circus–Las Vegas, NV

Within walking distance of Circus Circus and the rest of The Strip, the RV Park at Circus Circus provides everything you’d expect to find in an RV park, or perhaps even more. The RV Park features 170 sites, 60- to 80-foot pull-thrus with full hookups, grass, patios, and picnic tables and chairs. There’s also free Wi-Fi, a seasonal swimming pool and hot tub, laundry facilities, an on-site convenience store, and a dump station. There’s even a dog park for your four-legged family members. The Circus Circus Hotel & Casino also features The Adventuredome, Midway Arcade, award-winning restaurants, and, of course, some of the finest gaming on The Strip.

Oasis–Las Vegas, NV

Oasis–Las Vegas, NVOasis Las Vegas Resort)

The Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort was built from the ground up as an RV park, so expect to find full hookups, including 20, 30, and 50 A electrical and free cable TV connections. Depending on your budget and the size of your RV, Oasis offers different site types, from basic desert-landscape back-in sites to 90-foot-pull-thru sites with fences, grass, barbecue pits, and outdoor furniture. On site, you’ll enjoy access to a tropical Casablanca-themed resort, including winding paths through date palms and white, sandy beaches on lagoon-style pools. There are areas for pets and family, as well, so it’s not a problem if you’re toting younger or four-legged family members.

When you say “casino,” most people think “Las Vegas,” but the truth is there are plenty of casinos that aren’t in Las Vegas; some of them have excellent RV parks for your camping-out, RV-gaming pleasure. Of course, we had to mention a couple of RV-friendly casinos in Nevada, and they’re good ones. But Nevada isn’t even the center of casino gaming, though it might certainly be the loudest.

How about the rest of the country? That’s what the rest of this list is for!

Located on beautiful Coos Bay in North Bend, Oregon, The Mill Casino & RV Park has a lot of space for you and your RV. Both back-in and pull-thru sites are extra wide for slide-outs and your towing or towed vehicles. All sites come with full hookups, cable TV connections, and Wi-Fi. On the bay, pull-through sites give beautiful views, and most sites come with outdoor furniture. Some sites come with grass areas and beautiful trees–a parking lot, this is not.

Aside from the games, the casino happens to lie close to a bunch of nice attractions. Hike or ride the Oregon Dunes, explore Shore Acres State Park and Cape Arago Trail, or walk downtown Coos Bay shops and museums.

Clearwater River–Lewiston, ID

The Clearwater River Casino & Lodge’s setting couldn’t be more picture perfect, one of Idaho’s oldest campgrounds nestled right along the scenic Clearwater River, just a few miles from Lewiston. Of course, you’ll come for the games, but don’t forget to stay for the indoor saltwater pool and spa, fireplace lobby, both upscale and casual dining, events and headliners, and the rich history of the Lewiston, ID, area. The Clearwater River Casino & Lodge RV Park has 23 spaces, not the largest on the list but certainly not the least, all with full hookups with 20, 30, and 50 A electrical. There’s also an outdoor pool, seasonal, of course, laundry facilities, and vending machines.

Jackson Rancheria–Jackson, CA

In Jackson, California, you’ll find the Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort RV Park to be more than accommodating, smack in the middle of the Historic Mother Lode Gold Country and an out-of-the-way forest area. Featuring full hookups at all 100 sites, free cable TV and Wi-Fi connections, 20, 30, and 50 A power connections, each site does one better with beautiful grass areas and picnic tables. The heated pool and spa are open year round, and the clubhouse has a full kitchen, fireplace, and big-screen TV. The free shuttle service runs all day and night, giving you access to the casino and nearby restaurants.

Pechanga is the biggest resort in California, and we think you’ll enjoy what Pechanga Resort & Casino has to offer in its RV Resort. All 168 sites offer full hookups and plenty of space to relax, 12 feet of grass on either side of the space. There are dozens of back-ins and a couple dozen pull-thru sites and, as if that weren’t enough, a couple dozen premium sites with picnic tables and a few luxury areas, complete with fencing, outdoor furniture, and gazebo. Total access to Pechanga’s world-class dining and gaming, relaxing spa, and beautiful surroundings are just minutes away.

Apache Gold–San Carlos, AZ

Just five miles from Globe, Arizona, centered in high-desert mountains, scenic vistas are just one attraction the Apache Gold Casino & Resort RV Park offers. Because of its location, summers aren’t quite as hot as nearby Tucson and Phoenix, and even winters are more mild, the perfect southwestern clime for a few days’ or a few months’ stay. Sixty spaces are available, all featuring full hookups and 30 and 50 A electrical, as well as cable TV and high-speed Wi-Fi internet connections. Don’t forget the heated pool and jacuzzi and full shower and laundry facilities. The nearby full-service gas station and convenience store are well-stocked. The Apache Gold Casino and 18-hole Apache Stronghold Golf course are just a few steps away.

If there’s one thing that RV owners can agree on, Northeast, Midwest, South, or West, it is that you need good visibility when you’re getting around or into and out of your spot. Mirrors and spotters can be helpful, but only in certain circumstances. Camera Source, on the other hand, has got your visibility needs covered with wired and wireless camera systems, even multi-camera systems and monitors. Camera systems help you hitch up your RV trailer or 5th wheel and position it in the tightest spot, even when you get to your site late at night. Still, with the rest of the RV-friendly casinos on this list, you’ve got space in spades.

Paragon–Marksville, LA

Family fun is just around the corner, including alligator shows, the Tunica-Biloxi Nature Trail, and stories and songs by the Tunica-Biloxi Legend-Keepers. Even more world-class dining and shopping is close by in New Orleans and Baton Rouge.

RV site reservations come with passes for the water park, and the heated pool is open all year long, kept at a comfortable 84 degrees (Fahrenheit). The Dream Pool water park is closed for the season, but next summer will open with lazy river, water slides, swim-up bar–the only true wet bar–and a splash pad for the kids. Everything needed for a wonderful family stay is right there, including a game room, big-screen TV, playground, courts, and a huge covered deck.
